I get what you're saying Brent (thanks).  I'm not so sure I like this ranking business so much - LOL!!   I'm now @ position 8 of 14.   :(   Reminds me of a favorite saying of mine - "The hurrier I go, the behinder I get!"

I've had one of mine go backwards as well.  I was initially confused when it said - currently in position 6 of 14 - estimated position in 2 weeks - 8 of 14.

That didn't make any sense, but sure enough, I just noticed that I've gone backwards to 7 of 14 now.......  Anyone know why/how that is happening??

However, that's the only quirky thing I've seen - I really like all of the new improvements of late - Good job SACD team!

Is there any minimum balance required in your SACD account other than $.49 in order to request a CD? I looked quickly on the Help page and saw where it says you simply need 1 credit and $.49 to request. I have $.59 and just want to be sure I don't get passed by on a WL item coming available due to my low balance.
I haven't been doing much trading lately and I don't know whether to pony-up $5 more or to use the last and bow on out....for now. That's why I'm sitting on a bottom-of-the-barrel balance. geekwink

I've used freecovers listed above. Excellent resource for rear inserts (as well as fronts too!)!

I don't see it anywhere right off myself (Looking at one CD that I have en route). You may have to PM the sender and have them send it to you. I believe it prints out on the outside of the wrapper.

Yes, you will get your credit back, as well as your $.49, I believe. Additionally, I think you jump right back to your front spot on the WL for that item.

I recently received a damaged-by-sender item, and was refunded the credit and money. Oddly enough, I got another WL notification the next week, as it was posted again that soon. smile

Thanks folks. I did indeed mark it received with a problem, and indicated "damaged by sender". I hated to have to do that, but it was pretty bad, imo.

I actually have some Brasso that I bought after I received my first scratched CD. It helped quite a bit on that CD (and I had already marked it rec'd ok - it was my very first one here - lesson learned). I may try it to see what happens - otherwise, I'll be listening to the burned copy.blank

Reesa, that's my thought. I would never send out a CD in the condition of the one I recieved, but maybe it played okay for the sender (although I can't imagine how). I just don't want to do anything unfair; hence getting some input from fellow swappers.

Thanks,

Wade

I wish I had JH's luck. I just recieved my second CD with major issues (badly scratched). Every disc that I've sent out has been pristine. What in the world do some people do with their CDs?!? roll

Sorry, just a little venting......

I just recently recieved a CD in the mail from another member. As I anxiously unwrapped the paper wrapper, I was happy to see that I actually got the whole CD - jewel case and all. My excitement quickly turned to dismay as I flipped the CD over to view the 'business' side of it. It looked as if it had been played on a belt sander instead of a CD player! Scratches galore - hardly a square centimeter on the CD that didn't have scratches. Needless to say, it doesn't play worth a hoot in my car. I decided to see how my PC would handle it, and it actually managed to play it, so I made a copy of the CD.
My copy of the original CD actually plays fine in my car - Now;

How would you mark this CD as being recieved?? What's your opinion?

Thanks,

Wade
