Function buttons (in the yellow bar at the top of the CD Tower)
Allows you to sort (display) your CD Tower in various ways. The default display is alphabetically (A-Z) by title. To sort your CD Tower, click this button and make your choice from the options that come up. Your new Sort will remain until you ReSort again, even if you log out of your account in the meantime. Sort options include:
Allows you to search your CD Tower by artist, title, or genre. Click this button in the yellow bar at the top of your CD Tower and enter a keyword in the field that comes up, then click Search.
Allows you to delete items you have checked (clicked to place a checkmark in the box to the left of the item) on your CD Tower. You can delete multiple items at once. Click to place a checkmark in the box to the left of as many items as you wish to delete, then click Delete Checked. Once deleted, the CD cannot be restored to your CD Tower without reposting it.
Note: If you have clicked "I cannot mail" on a request, or have clicked "Cancel Order" on an active outgoing transaction, or the system has canceled your transaction for failure to mark a CD mailed by the deadline, the CD will have been automatically removed from your CD Tower.
Function buttons that appear on the right side of each CD in the list on your CD Tower:
Allows you to write a review of your CD for other members to read.
- Information about your particular copy of a CD should not be included in a review--there is no guarantee that the requestor of your CD will see your Review, and the Review is attached to the CD Details page for a CD, and NOT to a particular copy.
Allows you to send a CD to a friend in a not-for-credit transaction.
- When you click this button, you can generate a SwapaCD wrapper for a CD, even if the recipient is not a SwapaCD member.
- You enter the recipient's name and mailing address; the CD will appear on your CD Tower in your CDs to Mail tab AND your CDs I've Requested tab.
- You can print the wrapper as usual and mark the CD mailed. The CD will move to your CDs I've Mailed tab AND your "En Route to Me" tab.
- You can mark it received from your "En Route to Me" tab when the recipient tells you that it was received. You will not get a credit for sending a CD this way.
