Help Center - I got a request for a CD I don't have

The CD must have been on your CD Tower in order to have been requested.  If it is a title you don't recognize, perhaps the item was listed incorrectly when you posted it.   If it has been on your CD Tower a long time, you may have forgotten that you posted it at all!

Check your Transaction Archive to be sure that you have not confused this title with another.   You can get to your Transaction Archive from the menu that drops down from My Account in the toolbar at the top of the site.

If you previously sent out a copy of this CD, it might have been double-posted to your CD Tower by mistake: sometimes a CD is double-posted onto a member's CD Tower (either by a server-hiccup or by the posting member clicking Refresh on the browser while the posting is in process).

Please note:

  • You will not see the CD on your CD Tower when it is actively involved in a request.
  • If you have accepted the request, the date that the CD was posted will appear on the request.
  • After you click or on the request, the CD will be removed from your CD Tower entirely.
