Since people are talking political issues rather than about the music I thought I'd say a little something. Yusuf has said very clearly from day one that he did not support the fatwa against Salman Rushdie - never has and never will.

I agree with the other reviewer-Conrad. I was a big Cat Stevens fan, but it seems a BIT odd to sing about God and love for all humanity and then hope for the death of a man who did nothing but write about the evils of a fanatical religion. Kinda points up what Rushdie was writing about doesn't it?
