Pattiera was so good!

"Why is this exciting singer so little known today? Perhaps his beautiful voice and impassioned singing is still treasured by some people, but I'll bet that most music lovers would have heard very little, if anything at all, of his recorded legacy. This set goes some way towards explaining why Pattiera was so well regarded in his relatively brief years of triumph. Why, in view of his obviously great talents, did he not enjoy a wider international success? This matter remains a puzzle."
