"If you love operetta, THEN THIS CD IS COMPULSORY for your collection. The songs are not performed by the latest artists, but the greatest. Björling, Schumann, Tauber (the most famous name in operetta), Patzak, Korjus, Wittrisch, Anders - just to name the highlights - all singing the best loved songs from the operettas. If you do not like this CD, you do not like music. Just one word of caution to those who do not know some of these artists. Some of these recordings were made many years ago in the days of 78 rpm records. Learn to accept that not all recordings can be digital quality and enjoy the best songs ever written sung by the best artists ever."
