"The selection of songs on this album is brilliant aside from a few mis-steps, though you can't really go wrong with a Country Christmas cd. Carrie Underwood gives one of her best vocal performances on "Do You Hear What I Hear".
Other highlights for me were Kellie Pickler's "Santa Baby" (which fits her perfectly), "Let It Be Christmas" by Alan Jackson (maybe the best Christmas song ever), "Away In A Manger" by Blaine Larsen (This song has been a favourite since I sung it at school when I was younger) and Johnny Cash's take on "Silent Night".
The only bad part is Montgomery Gentry sound really bad on "Merry Christmas From The Family", it's as if they were drunk while recording it.

"There's a variety of styles and artists here, all pleasing renditions of your Christmas favorites, from cute to spiritual. I would have preferred a song other than "Merry Christmas from the Family," however, which is too silly for the rest of this collection. I like Kellie Pickler's rendition of "Santa Baby" better than Marilyn Monroe's! Alan Jackson's "Let it be Christmas" is one of the best!"
