A nice stroll down memory lane

"This is a very thorough collection of songs from various Disney movies over the years. Most of the songs are familiar favorites that even those who are not rabid Disney fans (like myself) will be able to sing along with. My only complaint, and the reason this collection merited 4 stars instead of five is for a collection titled "Classic Disney" it seems to lean much more heavily on the newer movies such as Beauty & the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Hunchback etc. instead of what I consider to be "classic" Disney and the live action Disney movies with the exception of the Parent Trap and meager spinkling of a few others are totally excluded. A nice touch is the addition of songs from some of the attractions at the Disney themeparks. There is so much Disney music out there that it would be impossible to include eveything, but this collection is a great jumping off place. Additionally, this boxed set is much cheaper than purchasing the CDs individually. I purchased Volume 1 of this set a few years ago for almost half of what I paid for the entire boxed set. Its a must have for all Disneyaholics!"
Absolutely what I was looking for

"I am obsessed with Disney music. My playlists of mp3's include almost every Disney song in the past 60 years...or so I thought. I bought this CD (and waited the horrible four weeks for it to arrive), and as soon as it showed up I put each CD in my stereo and played them on a loop for days. About a third of the songs I'd never heard of, but loved. I'm only 16, so some of the songs from the older movies I didn't know, but they are great. One reviewer mentioned she was disappointed that the CDs contained so much new music, but for people my age and younger, Beauty & the Beast, Lion King and Little Mermaid ARE Disney. In summation, these CDs are absolutely the memories I needed, and well worth the price and wait. (By the way, the price? If you buy these CDs seperately, even online, two cost more than the boxed set). Buy them. You won't regret it."

"This box set was exactly what I was looking for. It has the original songs from the original movies and what's even better is that the vocals are by the actual people whose voices were used in the movies. It has all the classic movies, and some of the newer ones. I love Disney and I am very satisfied with this box set. I would recommend it to anyone who loves everything about Disney."
There's something for everyone on this collection

"My 2 year old daughter loves listening and dancing to music. I have 2 teenage boys who would rather scrub toilets than ever listen to another Barney song, so I bought Classic Disney Vol II hoping this would be a compromise. My daughter loved it and so do the boys. I played on of these new CD's and she was so excited she was giggling and dancing. If you love Disney songs, this has everything on it, including songs from "the AristoCats" which never seems to be on any other Disney CD's, and some songs from "Winnie The Pooh" movies. I highly recommend this collection."

"If you are a fan of Disney and enjoy the music, this is the collection for you. I first heard the collection while working in the Disney store, and to my surprise, after receiving the collection it was the exact one I had been looking for. This is a great collection and children will enjoy them. After listening to the CD's, I want to then watch the movie where they came from. There are some songs from movies people may never have seen or heard about, but this doesn't lessen the enjoyment of the songs."
