"I've always enjoyed Trini Lopez's hits, If I Had A Hammer and Lemon Tree, among others, and always purchased 45s that I found by him while browsing at flea markets and antique shops. Once upon a time I had a 45 of the song Mental Journey and the first time I played it I was hooked, I had sworn I had heard it before but I never figured out where I might have heard it. Later on I found a copy of this album on vinyl and wore the record out by playing several of the songs many times over.



This album is a great one to add to your collection if you like either Trini Lopez music or country standards like Gentle On My Mind, Devil Woman, Crazy Arms, Lonely Weekends, Flowers On The Wall, Good Old Mountain Dew, or even The Green, Green Grass Of Home.



You can not miss with this release, and I am absolutely thrilled to see it on cd finally, it's long overdue. Thank you, Collectables Records!"
