""The Freedom Trilogy" is worth the price of the album -- an interweaving of Gregorian Chant and complex, exciting Gospel -- beautifully performed. One of the most exquisite things I have heard in a long time. Paul Halley was the organist at the Cathedral of St John the Divine in New York City when the Paul Winter Consort was in residence. You can hear him play that fabulous instrument in "Missa Gaia" and the wonderful recording of the celebration of the Winter Solstice. I think after that Halley went out on his own to do the kind of thing you find here. A good story and wonderful music."
