Tenor Overcomes Synthesizer

"I love Ron Naldi's voice! I've known him for years and worked with him in the "old days" at the Bronx Opera Company. Hearing him at the Met always gives me a thrill. He sounds wonderful on this recording, which has live mandolin and accordion, but either the orchestra is a synthesizer, or it sounds like one. However, the engineering is such that when Naldi is singing, you don't notice it. Bravo!"
