""The Big Hurt" and "West of the Wall" may be Toni Fisher's only hits, but the other songs on this CD, all 31 of them, are just as good or even better. Thanks to Wayne Shanklin's influence the arrangements are top notch. The old standards such as "Autumn Leaves", "My Silent Love", and "Hold Me" all take on a new life with these sort of rock n roll arrangement but unique.

Her voice is strong and and it's a shame she never made it big. Another reviewer had some ideas why and I think they may be right on target. She didn't fit any category in a time when music was turning out more pop rock n roll groups, a transition from the vocalists of the early 50s to rock n roll in the late 50s."

"PUT THE CD ON AND FOUND "LAUGH OR CRY" HAVE FELL IN LOVE ALL OVER AGAIN WITH MISS TONI. SHE HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE BEST. GREAT LINER NOTES AND I LOVE ALL THE SONGS. I DO MISS "YOU NEVER TOLD ME" IT IS ALSO A GOOD SONG. GIVE LAUGH OR CRY A LISTEN AND LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ANOTHER HIT."
