"Maybe her latest album "More than a woman" didn't reach the status of her Platinum x8 albums "Toni Braxton" and "Secrets" or her Double Platinum "The Heat" but that Gold album (I'm sure that it hasn't been a big album because it didn't have a good promotion but the album is very good).
"Hit the freeway" is the first single, this song only reached #86 on the Hot 100 but the song rocks, it's very good.
This cd single features the album version and some remixes of the song and it also includes the single's video that maybe it's not Toni's best but it's not bad at all.
I heard that Toni doesn't work with Arista anymore and that she has a new record deal with Universal and that her up-coming album is programmed for this next september. I hope that she recives the publicity and treatment that she deserves because she's a big star.
"Hit the freeway" in my opinion is one of her best songs, it has the style of "You're making me high", it's very good."

"Toni Braxton's More Than A Woman to me was a real dissapointment. Still, there was really only one good song that actually made it from that record during promotions, Hit The Freeway. The song was very upbeat and very tough. Unfortunately, there was really a lack of promotion with her album, More Than A Woman, and this was the only single. Still, it was a great song, but I think it could've been better. I prefer just the one song than the More Than A Woman album. I just hope Toni goes back to doing ballads soon."
Great work

"Toni Braxton has changed her style in music, but for her it turned out to be a great thing. This song is sexy and has a good danceble tune to it. The bridge of the song is so lovely! Even though this song never topped that charts, it really deserves to because its a great song!"
Great song!

"It's a shame I only heard this song a couple times on the radio and seen the video only once. They need to play this more because Toni Braxton is one of the most talented sistas out there singing and she deserves some shine. The beat is tight and Toni's singing is crisp and clear. Loon is ok on the track but he could have been left off. I don't own this single but it's a great song. More Than A Woman will definitely be the next R&B album I purchase."
