"Somehow over the years I was missing out on the great music that is "Cabaret". Well, now I am slowly catching up, thanks to Tom Grounds.
The musical instrument accompaniment is lovely and complements his singing without overcoming his voice. In short -I LOVE IT! I'm not by any means a 'professional critic'; I just believe music is an individual choice and should be listened to with the heart-not just the critical ear.
I belive Tom proves that in great music, often less is more. I love what his voice alone can do. The words to "Hold me" touch my heart and I adore it!
As so much of the music coming out these days is lacking in lyrics and emotion, this CD is great to just close your eyes and relax to."

"What a pleasant surprise - don't miss out on this one!! Tom's first and extremely well-thought-out Cabaret-styled CD is clearly an incredible achievement - - not only from a musical standpoint, but also in terms of choice and order of titles and album theme development. Tom's powerful but warm voice gently takes listeners on a memorable and and sometimes funny, sometimes emotional stroll down memory lane - - with frequent stops along the way, reminding us what was seemingly important and noteworthy at different points in our life and career. Strong, serious, funny, and sometimes sad, this artistic treat is one you'll want to share with your friends and loved ones over and over again. BRAVO, Tom and crew! Hurry and start to work on your next CD for us . . . ."

"Great energy and some good music, but there are some SERIOUS intonation issues - fingernails on chalkboard kinda stuff."
