"Elvis and Willie Nelson were both die-hard fans of this tragically overlooked "Singer's Singer", and the late Timi Yuro who passed away largely forgotten in Las Vegas in 2004 had THE voice of a lifetime that was unsurpassed in its beauty and passion! This short but brilliant collection will make a fan for life of anyone with an once of feeling and an appreciation of life's finest in music. "Hurt" is extraordinary vocally and the soulfulness of Timi's voice in this classic and huge hit is breathtaking and completely stunning. Quite soul make the tender Burt Bacharach "The Love Of A Boy" the definitive version and the hit "What's A Matter Baby" is a barn-storming MASTERPIECE!!! Another classic, this time being Charlie Champlin's "Smile", is given a definitive reading by Timi and the big band "Let Me Call You Sweetheart" would thrill Uncle Frank!!! Closing is the haunting "Insult To Injury" where Timi soars with passion and greatness like only she could!! What a shame this Legend never got her just due!!! Enjoy, as this lady left behind alot of brilliance for us to enjoy and this collection is a great sampling of it!!!!!!"
