"When you think of "TWILIGHT TIME", what comes to mind? The answer should be simple, The Three Suns. Their recordings reached the "Top 20", and sold over a million copies, co-written by the trio and Buck Ram. This post-war trio was made up of Artie Dunn (vocalist/organist) - Al Nevins (guitarist) - and brother Morty Nevins (accordionist). The story goes, "The Nevins" mother christened the group when she said, "Here comes my three sons", that moment on when the group toured, they were known as - "The Three Suns".With the "lounge-music" revival and "space-age bachelor pad" reissues in the '90s and to the present, groups and artists have resurfaced, playing to a new and old audience, never sounding better.Entire album is first class, many hightlights: "TWILIGHT TIME" (1947), "PEG O' MY HEART" (1947), "MOONLIGHT AND ROSES" (1953), "UNDER A BLANKET OF BLUE" (1953), "UNDER PARIS SKIES" (1953), all selections from original analog mono tracks. In recent years, there have been many efforts to re-release easy listening instrumental albums, many have fallen through the cracks of pop music history, partly because of rock, jazz, country, r&b and presently rap. However, groups like "The Three Suns", have finally gotten the attention and respect they deserve from todays music lovers and lounge set.Total Time: 55:04 on 20 Tracks/ Taragon Records - TARCD 1063 (1999)"
