"Marty Robbins was an artist who could sing many different styles of music and do it very well. On this disc you hear Marty with the Ray Conniff singers. "The Story of my Life" is my favorite from this collection. This is not as vital as his Western material but still a very important part of his long career."

"If you are a child of the seventies and remember listening to your parent's records then this is a trip down memory lane you need to take. I remember hearing Marty Robbins and Ray Conniff separately but what a nice suprise to hear the ever-talented Robbins and the exuberant Conniff together. Gotta have it!"
Thanks, Bear!

"While some of these songs have been available for a long time, some are on CD nowhere else, and the entire album is excellent. Marty Robbins was one of the most versatile entertainers, capable of performing in several genres of music... successfully! Ray Conniff's arrangements are ALWAYS good, and these sessions with Marty Robbins are no exception. I happen to be a fan of BOTH Marty Robbins AND Ray Conniff, so I rate this album five-star. Incidentally, the recording quality is super."
