"It's amazing how these six people sing together in perfect pitch. With such songs as "In my prime" which talks about visual judgement, among other things, and a very up beat song called "Thank you for the Dream" which thanks Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for his beliefs and motivation, makes this a very different album from what you hear on the radio. If you like a cappela and world jazz, this is the CD for you."

"SoVoSo's latest CD, "Truth and Other Stories" gives the listener a sampling of a wide range of musical genres. From jazz to blues to rap and soul it defies classification but sounds GOOD! My personal favorites include "Afro Blue", a haunting poetic melody with an incredible solo by Melanie Rath and also "Life and Love", a song written by Joey Blake which touches the heart. There is also an amazingly beautiful improvisation called "For the Forest". If you are looking for the same old canned rock and roll or bebop then don't buy this CD but if you want a refreshing change of pace for delightful entertainment than I can highly recommend SoVoSo. Listening to the rich blending of voices in their non-traditional a cappella format is ambrosia to the ears."
