Accompanied only by guitar, she brings the holidays to life and light, somewhat as Doris Day did with her wonderful holiday album from back in the 60's. Laura may not be everyone's cup of tea, but the songs she has chosen to sing, all of them very familiar, surround the listener with a warmth and quiet that is perfect for this time of the year.
