CD Reviews"Somewhere in Time" by Robin Meloy Goldsby Janet P. Reagan | Elizabethton, TN (displaced Tar Heel) | 10/16/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "After reading her book, "Piano Girl" - it was mandatory to buy both her albums. Her delightful personality and grand talent combine to make a most satisfying listen. This is one you will like." From MainlyPiano Kathy Parsons | Florence, OR United States | 11/24/2009 (5 out of 5 stars) ""Somewhere In Time" is Robin Meloy Goldsby's debut album. It was recorded in 1994 after Goldsby had played in piano rooms in New York City hotels for almost ten years. Produced by Robin Spielberg, another pianist of no small repute, the thirteen tracks are Goldsby's arrangements of some of her favorite songs, and undoubtedly some of the most-requested tunes from that era of her life. Even though some of these songs are very well-worn, Goldsby has refreshed them with her personal interpretations. Titles include "Will You Love Me Tomorrow?," "Vincent" (one of my favorites), "Over The Rainbow," The Beatles' "Something" and "She's Leaving Home" (there's one you don't hear on the piano very often!), "Charade" (another favorite), "Come In From The Rain," and John Barry's haunting "The Music Of Goodbye." I have become a huge fan of Robin Meloy Goldsby's original music, but this is a very strong album of cover tunes and an important part of her earlier musical career."
