"If you're a Rhiannon fan, you already know this is one of her best CDs. For those of you who are not familiar with her and would like to hear her work, this is a good CD to buy. But be forewarned. She has a powerful voice and a unique style unlike any other artist. She uses a large array of vocal interpretations and sounds that evoke strong emotions. In this CD she sings of her childhood, her affinity for home, and her love of the land she grew up. And she does so with a kind of honoring, despite the hardness of life. Reminiscent and prayerful, Rhiannon's heartfelt "coming home" account will surely stir your own deep emotions and memories."

"Blending strong jazz roots with an extemporaneous style, Rhiannon is able to go from the sublime to the outrageous. She pulls from many sources: storytelling, scatalogic work, worldbeat and then some...you won't forget this work of art any time soon."
