CD Reviews
TONY BENNETT GOT IT RIGHT

"
I heard a Tony Bennett interview about the new Regis & Joy CD Just You.Just Me. He said that they sound very good, singing naturally and chose very good songs. He got
it right. This CD is an absolute delight with even some intimate banter between Regis
and his wife Joy.
Arrangements by Jon Cobert, Mike Renzi, Bob Mann and Paul Shaffer provide a stellar
musical setting for their performances of many American standards.
This album is going to surprise some people because they sound terrific. There is
a freshness and pure clarity to Joy's singing that has the Doris Day style of openness.
Get this album for yourself and, at the same time, get at least one copy for a person
dear to you - they will love you for it.

"What a perfect holiday time - or anytime - gift for friends, family or co-workers. So many of the tracks are familiar but what a great musical treat hearing Regis and Joy sing them together. Regis is entertaining as you would expect, but who knew Joy had such a voice. They are too cute together! This is feel-good music for the holidays that will be great all through the year!"
Pleasantly Surprised

"Picked this up as an early Christmas gift for my mother and we were VERY pleasantly surprised when we gave it a listen! Regis is entertaining as always, and Joy's voice is absolutely phenomenal. Not only are they both extremely talented performers, but any listener can't help but notice how much their chemistry shines through the vocal arrangements. Accompanied by a stellar cast of musicians in the background, the CD was a great listen. Paul Schaffer totally hit one out of the park with his recreation of 'This Guy's in Love With You' and the remaining tracks are equally impressive. This will certainly be a staple of the holiday music rotation in our household for years to come!"
