"We bought Raffi's tape for our daughters years ago, but I think my husband and I enjoyed Raffi and his Christmas selections as much as the girls... This year, I bought the CD for my oldest daughters who's in college, just to bring back memories of our music-filled Christmases at home. Beautiful voice. And his rendition of Petit Papa Noel brings tears to my eyes. So glad it's available in CD."
Great Christmas music

"I bought this cd in a now-defunct Zany Brainy store when it first came out, principally because the song "Old Toy Trains" is included. My father wrote this song years ago and then sold it to Roger Miller, who is credited as the author of the song. I don't see it on too many cds, so when I saw it I thought I'd give the cd a try, even though I'm not particularly a Raffi fan.
After listening to it, however, I must say that Raffi does a wonderful job, not only on "Old Toy Trains" but on the entire cd. My family and I love the cd from start to finish. I love that many of the songs are unusual and not what you hear played on the radio over and over again. And I love that the songs are not overblown and bombastic, but simplistic and pleasant.
Overall, a great Christmas cd. Not a clunker in the bunch."
A Christmas Classic for Everyone

"This is my children's favorite Christmas music CD, and my wife and I look forward to this CD every year. This is great Christmas music for everyone. There are traditional children's Christmas songs, like "Must Be Santa," and other lesser known gems that are wonderful, like "Petit Papa Noel" and "On Christmas Morning." There is not one bad song, and the quality is excellent. I wish everyone a merry Christmas with this good music.I highly recommended this CD and Raffi's other CD's, videos, and DVD."
Classic, with Raffi's charm

"The usual story: I do want Christmas music, and I do like the good old songs, but usually...well, it's about as exciting as a fruitcake joke. This is typical Raffi. Nice voice, good music, and timeless. And he sings Petit Papa Noel so close to the same way Tino Rossi used to sing it on TV when I was a kid...(his slight accent does not take anything away in French, the emotion is there!)"
