"A friend recommended I pick up this CD, and since I did I haven't stopped listening. The vocal harmonies in the duets are impeccable, the arrangements are creative and romantic, and the production values are top-notch. I am so impressed that these two artists produced this themselves! I have seen Stan Chandler in "Forever Plaid" and have always admired his angelic voice; it seems he has found his match in Kirsten Benton, whose voice is absolute velvet. Buy this CD; every minute of it is golden."
Perfection!

"There are few collections I have heard that can compare in originality and artistry to this one. Their voices are beautifully matched and the arrangements are innovative. I can't wait for more by this very talented couple."
Classy and clever

"A Quiet Thing featuring Stan Chandler and Kirsten Benton is a celebration of life, love and musicality. These two unique voices working harmoniously together throughout the entire CD, represent musical theatre, pop and some original tunes. Stans crystal tenor compliments Kirstens earthy mezzo so beautifully that the listener wonders why this is only the first collaboration these two talents have offered. One might hope that there will be more to come in the future. Some highlights include Hey There, featuring the original cast of Forever Plaid, and the gloriously sung She's Got a Way. Don't miss out on this one!"
OK, but not worth multiple plays

"As a big fan of Broadway Vocals-type albums, I eagerly looked forward to this offering from LML Music. While I appreciated the quality of both Mr. Chandler's and Ms. Benton's voices, and the creativity in many of their choices, overall the album strikes one chord and stays there. I did enjoy Hey There and Going Home, but after many songs I kept wanting to say, "OK, we KNOW you two are in love, already." I'd prefer love songs that help me celebrate my own love, not theirs exclusively."
