"I always felt the "Kiss Me Goodbye"/"Don't Give Up" album was among Clark's best collaborations with Hatch and Trent. There's any number of potential hits included and, in fact, "Have Another Dream on Me" was planned as a single. "Beautiful in the Rain" is one of Pet's loveliest recordings, ditto "Love Is Everywhere" and "The Sun Shines Out of Your Shoes" is a kick. Everything is arranged richly with a lot of complex touches and Oriental and Asian influences (Hatch was into that at this point) and Petula gives each song loving care and the full intellectual powers which has always marked her work. All these decades later the album is pure pleasure. "The Other Man's Grass album" is packed with goodies, including one in French."
