"'Magnet' once again proves that Pamela Luss is on top of her game in choosing various classic songs and making them her own......her voice is strong and crisp and the musicians are top notch....this is a easy listen and a real cool album for both jazz and non-jazz fans....."
Thanks again, Pamela

"I've bought all of Pamela Luss's albums from Amazon, and I love this one the most! I especially love the way she sings "Why Did I Choose You?" "Day By Day" is very celtic and new age-y, but swinging at the same time, with great soprano saxophone playing from Joel Frahm. The duet with Freddy Cole, "No Not Much" is a real gem. It's a lot of fun and the two of them sound fantastic together. Houston Person is a wonderful presence, especially on "More." I never really liked that song before, but Pamela and Houston made me love it. "Magnet," the title song, was completely new to me, and it's a great mambo - salsa number that could be a hit single. I didn't know "Come To The Party" either, but now it's also a favorite. I also love the warm, intimate feelings on "Quiet Nights" and the medley of "I Could Have Told You" and "Glad To Be Unhappy," and the way she puts her heart and soul into the lyrics on every song. In

all, Pamela Luss is my favorite of the younger contemporary jazz singers.
