Gramophone doesn't get it!

"I don't get the Gramophone review above. Apparantly, they don't understand this record. First off, Nora is American, not European. Second, there's not a note remotely New - Age on the record. As far as "her small voice's natural limits." and "range is not great; neither is it greatly expressive", are we reviewing the same album? I feel just the opposite, one of the most expressive singer I've heard, big, voice, great range. Plus she can consistently maintain the range, voice & emotion in performance. What we have hear is a unique mix of straight ahead with experimentalism, caberet w/ hip New York downtown. Jazz with Rock. I can't find the right catagory, but certainly not New Age!"
Great voice, great band, great tunes, great arrangements!
