"Long rides with my niece and nephew used to be torture when it came to the CDs my sister allowed me to play. And, then I discovered the Nicky series. Now we're ALL been able to enjoy long car rides. Not just the kids but me and Grandma too!
At first, I fell in love with Nicky because he is one cool cat, besides I have an affinity for black cats being owned by two. Second, it was the music. The songs on Nicky's Jazz for Kids and Lullibies are rare tunes performed by jazz legends. Tracks like Peggy Lee singing This Little Piggie and Count Basie and Tony Bennett's Jeepers Creepers keep us all entertained for miles.
So, when I found out there was a Nicky's Jazz Christmas I had to buy several copies one for the kids, one for me, one for Grandma and especially one for the car! So far, so good. No recycled Christmas songs that you've heard a million times before. Again, Nicky picked the coolest, jazziest Christmas tunes you've probably never even heard.
Enlighten your kids to a new world of Christmas songs and do yourself a favor add Nicky's Jazz Christmas to your holiday playlist.

"Every Christmas, I have one fear - being bombarded with generic a-dime-a-dozen christmas CDs...and having to sort through them 1 by 1, to finally find the...one.
If you are like me, have no fear - I found a winner!
"Nicky's Jazz Christmas" is the ultimate christmas CD. As a patron of Christmas music my whole life, I am in awe of this GEM!
The sound is impeccable; from what I read it each song is digitally remastered. They may be some songs you've heard but certainly not by these artists, most of whom are legends in their own right: Peggy Lee, The Drifters, Louis Armstrong. What could beat "Winter Wonderland" by Lena Horne?
And what a treat at the end - just when you think you've heard every Christmas song, the last track, Peggy Lee's "Don't Forget to Feed the Reindeer" is a marvelous surprise.
I don't have kids and you don't need to for this CD. It is perfect for all ages and will stand the test of time in most households. Worth every penny and the Christmas compilation that I've been waiting for!
Further research into more products by this company show some great children's books about Jazz and a baby board book. Nicky the Jazz Cat is the theme throughout. Very original."
