"The first two discs give a good overview of his career spanning 1966 through 2001. And unlike the 2-disc "Greatest Hits 1966-92", this collection manages to include five tracks from his MCA years-all of them Top Ten hits. "Longfellow Serenade" had been a noteworthy omission from the original release but now that's been rectified with the addition of the third disc. In addition, the bonus disc includes two more tracks from his Bang years, some live recordings from 2005 and 2008 and a track from his 2005 album "12 Songs". All in all, this a better, updated version of the original collection truly essential for any die-hard fan or even the casual one."
