"I realy enjoyed this cd. It kinda took me back in the day. Although, I wasnt born during the time of the Negro Spirtituals, my spirit naturally gravitates to the calls of my ancestors. Jeanette Thompson brings a strong energy to the songs on the cd. If you like the Negro Spirituals from back in the day, you will enjoy this cd. If you like the sound of a Soprano, that will be a bonus. Sit back, relax and let your Soul remind you of just how far we have come, since the enslavement of a Afrikan people. Our Faith Is Unshakeable!!!We Are Here To Stay!!"
