"While she may have wandered a bit following going solo after groundbreaking work with superproducer Carlos Jean, Najwa Nimri Urrutikoetxea appears to have firmly found her voice and a creative vision. This vision lies somewhere between those fantastic trip-hop platters from the NajwaJean days and her later work, melding rhythms with lush strings, ethereal, sometimes forlorn vocals and an aesthetic that is more her own. She ranges from the airy work of "I'll Wait For Us" to the deeper beats and house of "Capable". She goes from these themes to one of the most beautiful pieces she's ever done, "I Like It". She is clearly growing with each LP and deserves to be more widely heard in the U.S."
