CD Reviews

Good 'Ole Honky Tonkin, Beer Drinkin, Cheatin Country
Joey Rasar | Seattle, Wa United States | 10/26/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I just got into old 60's and 70's country the past few years and was looking for something new to listen to as my old waylon, willie, cash, haggard and george jones records are about worn out. I started searching around and came upon Moe Bandy. Some of the song titles looked interesting so I bought this 'double' cd and gave it a few spins. the first song (and title track) was instantly one of my new favorite songs. with a line like "...i just found out my woman is the devil...," how can you go wrong. these are mostly old tear in the beer cheatin songs, but Bandy's voice makes them sound a little more whiskey soaked than the average 'country' singer. Bandy also has some amazing lyrics, which is very important to a good country song. i recommend this to anyone that likes good old fashioned country...kenny chesney fans need not apply."
Hard Country Music at it's best

"A rare collection of what has become known as "real country" music.
The hard country sound and perfected tones inside superb lyrics stand out on this one.
His best albums on one cd!
Pick this one up soon before it is gone...."
