A blast from the far gone past

"There is no one like Mitch Miller. You know every one of his songs -- they were the ones you learned in second grade music class, or in summer camp (but with unprintable words). Your mom and dad and grandparents know all the words to all the verses -- and somehow, when you hear the tune, you know the words too. This is the musical equivalent of comfort food. It is impossible to resist singing along, and is one of those recordings that is sure to make an appearance about the time the boring guests leave the party."
