"Miss Derringer's debut album has a unique style. They adopt country/western elements and mix it with a classic rock feeling, showing the bandmember's instrumental capabilities and talent. The lyrics are very rich & creative; some are deep and emotional, while other songs demonstrate the band's abilities for great storytelling. Liz McGrath's beautiful voice is captivating. Overall, this album is very chill and great to add to your collection."

"This album is a lot different for Liz McGrath, and if youwere a fan of her ever popular punk band Tongue, you might be taken aback. Here Ms Mcgrath sings slightly goth-y country songs (think Cowboy Junkies) about an imaginary (?) bank robber boyfirend. Great guitar work, and a real chance to hear what Liz can do vocally make this one a real fun spaghetti western."
