"If you want a fantastic collection of Mildred's 1930's (and some very early '40's)hits, snatch this cd up. For a lovely sampling of her later, heart-torn balladeering, buy "Me and the Blues". Note: Listen to samples of Mildred Bailey before you buy. Her light, sweet voice is not for everyone, but I guarantee, if you give it a try, her sense of rhythm, wisdom of phrasing, humor and sheer musical talent will grow and grow on you. Mildred was the first female band singer and her backup bands are composed of the best of the early jazz greats. Enjoy!"
