Remixes Bring "Loverboy" To A Whole New Level

"The original song, itself, isn't much of a hit, I admit. I, personally, love it but it certainly isn't to everyone's liking. The remixes, however, are IRRESISTIBLE! The MJ Cole Remix is a 2-step/house/garage version using the original vocals. It's sped up and is just plain wicked. The Club Of Love mix, remixed by the legendary David Morales, is another hit. It isn't your typical club mix but it's fantastic with new vocals and a fantastic updated chorus gliding over the backing. The video is also included. (If the Australian version is available, however, it has all 3 tracks here and the video PLUS the rap version & the Dub Love mix.)"

"I don't know why everyone hates Glitter, the album Glitter and any of the singles because Mariah's voice is amazing and I actually like the movie and CD because, unlike most people, have an open mind and can appreciate it! I love Loverboy and all the remixes, all 9 remixes that were made, especially the Club Of Love Remix and the MJ Cole London Dub Mix! A few of the remixes, MJ Cole Remix, MJ Cole Instrumental, and MJ Cole London Dub Mix, even have this Jazzy sound to it and it makes it very unique! The song Loverboy is very unique! I wish people would just stop saying that Glitter and the Glitter CD flopped because anyone with real taste would love Mariah going back to the 80's sound and any REAL Mariah fan would appreciate the album and movie like I do!! I actually cried during Glitter because Mariah did such a wonderful job and she showed all these emotions! It's just really sad that so many people have to put down the most beautiful, powerful, soaringly 7 octave voice in the world!! Thank You So Much Mariah for making another wonderful album, Glitter, and for the movie Glitter, I am your TRUE fan until the end of time!!!!"

"How can Mariah release such a scary, horrifying song?? This s*#$ is scary. Mariah has lost her ability to sing. "Gliiter" is horrible and terrifying. Don't waste your money on this or any music from "Glitter". Don't buy the movie either. Charmbracelet is a better album although, I was suprised that Charmbracelet did well after the downfall with "Glitter"."
Pop Magic by Mariah

"This track is pure pop fun. The vocal is light and airy yet dips and rises to bring the listener to a climactic finale. The production is sleek and, not being a fan of rap, even the "Guest Raps" are slipped in well here. This track highlights the eighties feel of "Glitter". A true Pop fan will embrace the bass and dance to the melody. All the while being in awe of such a great vocalist: Mariah Carey."
