Maria Vidal is an internationally renowned singer/song writer who s hit single Body Rock reached number 8 on the US dance charts, and number 11 in the UK. Vidal was originally a member of the band, Desmond Child & Rouge, but went solo with a self-titled debut album recorded in 1987. The album included the single Do Me Right written by ex-bandmate Desmond Child and Life on the Train co-written with Lindsay Buckingham.
Vidal also wrote the 1989 Belinda Carlisle hit Summer Rain and contributed backup vocals to the The Smithereens 1984 single Girl Like You.
