"My husband and I first attended a MRK concert at the Hartford Pops and were immediate fans! This recording is just as wonderful as their two previous recordings which for some reason are not available from Amazon.com We purchased them after their shows. Nothing bets seeing this trio in concert but "Hooray for Spinach" is a reasonable second. It's not just toe tapping, it's TWO feet tapping good!"
Excellent. Verytalented group. Wish I had more recordings.

"What a great recording! Great talent. Great arrangements. I remember Hooray for Spinach in a movie with Ann Sheridan when it first came out around 1940. Only wish I could get more recordings of the MRKs."
Am waiting for more releases!

"Have been a fan since their Community Concert Days of long ago when they sold a cassette at the show. They are so talented, and versatile. Not sure of their present status tour wise, but if they come to your area, by all means see them! This CD does really do justice to their repertoire- they can do so much so good."
MRK are "tops" with this reviewer!

"My husband and I were fortunate to be able to attend the Tommy Tune/Sandy Duncan musical review at the 5th Avenue Theater in Seattle last December. Little did we know what treats were in store! Not only did we enjoy the two stars in a superb performance--but we (who knew nothing at that time of the "Rhythm Kings")were amazed at the talents these three men possess. We purchased this CD and have been enjoying their music for the last month. Their sound is straight out of the 30's and 40's as they, and their incredible backup group, transport you to the Busby Berkely musicals of yesteryear as you listen to a variety of styles--upbeat and hilarious to slow and "bluesy". I think that you will enjoy this CD--provided you enjoy the style and temper of a bygone era of music. (By the way--my husband and I are of the Beatle generation..we didn't grow up with the wonderful style of music that the MRK preserve..how wonderful for us that they do!)"
