The King Would Dig It

"I'm a big fan of the King's, but let's be real--the production and arrangements on some of his later work didn't always do him any favors. I think it's a testimony to the long-term survivability of his work that you can take a couple of lesser-known songs like "A Little Less Conversation" and "Rubberneckin'" and update them so handsomely. I bought both as singles, each with the original, radio remix and extended dance mix, and they're both an awful lot of fun. Junkie XL's approach is funkier and more imaginative than Oakenfield's "Rubberneckin'," but that' one's still pretty fun. No doubt there'll be more of this and we'll all get sick of it eventually, but for now I say, "Thank you. Thank you very much.""
Elvis Still Rules!

"I am about to have my ninth baby and I needed some music to slim down to. I am a belly dancer and I like to dance to Western music (in private) more than to the Eastern music. With two months left to go, I may dance this baby out! Very dancable, strong catchy rhythm. This is the kind of music that gets in your head and you can't get it out. . .and it's OK!"
