Innocent Sundays...

"Firstly if you have a pssion for the Innocence Mission and/or the Sundays and/or Red House Painters then you should have bought this album by now. This album is very far from a 'pastiche' album of the former bands as Lisa draws upon the spirit and rich melodic sensibility of these bands whilst highlighting her own authentic voice and lyrical approach as well. Mark Kozelek's (Red House Painters) simple and bright production here helps distill every song into it's essence. You can tell from his involvement he is a great admirer of Lisa's and, being one of the most exciting songwriters of our generation himself, this is high praise indeed."

"This is my first exposure to Lisa Cerbone's work and I must say that I am extremely impressed. I bought the CD because of the track "Ordinary Day" which I heard from a free download. I did not expect the rest of the CD to be so beautiful....a wonderful work!"

"So thank goodness for the Internet or I would of never stumbled upon this album. A nice mixture from Mark Kozelek (Sun Kil Moon, Red House Painters). Good to see I can still find some obscure music out there. And Lisa Cerbone has a great voice. A great album to have... especially if you like the sounds from Mr. Mark Kozelek."
