Heartwarming nostalgia

"I continue to listen to this recording which I've been'chasing' for a number of years, and glory be! While it's true that Larry Sparks may not be to the taste of John Q. Public, it's definitely my cup of tea, or should I say cocoa? Heartwarming stories set to music by this stunning balladeer and his poignant guitar strings. Having grown up in the mountains, I can appreciate how he relates the songs with gutsy feeling and deliverance. These cuts reflect the best of traditional and original tunes under one cover. A holiday delight, and I can't put it away even in February!! My musical find of 02!"
