Frilot | Las Vegas, Nevada, United States | 03/12/2010 (5 out of 5 stars) "I just looked up the bios on the King Sisters and discovered that Vonnie,(the little one)had passed away after a terrible fall at her newphew's cabin last year. She was the energetic one that kept them from retiring and getting the whole King family together for all those lovely TV specials. This CD has great Hawaiian songs with the King Sisters special blend of harmony that is definately "ear-candy" and will never become old or out-dated.
The way they pronounce the Hawaiian lyrics is flawless and the sound is awesome...like they are right there in your presence. These ladies of song are so wholesome and pure, and such a delight to hear over and over again! They don't make'em like this anymore, and sadly they never will again!" |
