"This Paris live recording captures our hero in his prime, his voice is strong and clear. There's a lot of energy and pure joy in this show. The sound quality is brilliant for being 1976.
However, there are some flaws as well. The bass player sucks. Sounds like he's taken a valium too much, which nearly destroys beautiful numbers such as 'A veces tu, a veces yo', 'El amor' and 'Abrazame'. Generally the band would have needed more rehearsal time as well.
Julio's unintelligible French showcase presumably led to some good fun with the ladies afterwards but gets very tedious for the record listener. This meaningless chatting is put at the start of the tracks which means that you in some cases have to listen to it for 1-2 minutes before the music actually starts.
Overall a good document of the phenomenon that Julio is, recommended for really devoted fans."
