"This is a long overdue production of Juan Arvizu's golden years in which he recorded for the legendary RCA VICTOR MEXICANA. Many long discontinued Arvizu recordings like "Mi Buenos Aires Querido", "No Hagas Llorar A Esa Mujer", "Pecado","Pierrot", etc. are included in this 2CDS compilation. If you are a Juan Arvizu fan and above all a Latin Music Golden Era fan and collector, don't miss this wonderful re-edition. You'll get your money's worth too, 40 original songs for $... I highly recommend it!"
Me encanta! La voz y las canciones son bellisimas

"I love this CD. Despite some poor quality sound, I love Juan Arvizu's voice and interpretation of these lovely songs. The whole CD has an old-fashioned, early 20th century feel. You can imagine yourself sitting at a bandstand on a summer afternoon in a Latin American plaza--or even small-town USA in 1915, enjoying the music. My favorite pieces are the waltz "Sobre las olas," recorded in the 1950s by Mario Lanza as "Loveliest Night of the Year," Maria Grever's delightful "Tipitipitin," and "Salud, dinero y amor.""
