"Here is the chance for Jose Feliciano fans to sample the latin sensation singing spanish love songs. The classic boleros he has chosen for the album are examples of love songs he learned and sang as a boy.The spanish ballads are played with the rhythms and instrumentation of Cuba and Puerto Rico. A special treat is "Sombras"' which strays into Mexican territory with hints of Mariachi guitar and the great voice of Jose Feliciano. "Rich" and "lush" are the words that come to mind with traditional love ballads of "El Reloj" and "Piel Canela". Do yourself a favor, get the cd and enjoy."
