"I absolutely love the music that Jose was doing in the 1970's and this overlooked but brilliant album is no exception. Every track on this CD is beyond great and as always Jose's great voice along with his superb guitar artistry is beyond compare. The album starts off with one of my favorites "Hard Times In El Barrio" which for those who remember was the closing theme to the immensely popular TV show Chico And The Man. Jose sounds terrific on this track as he does in the rest of the album. His voice and guitar are just perfect. Perhaps my favorite song on the album is "Differently" in which Jose among other things sings about that he is no different than anyone else just because he cannot see. This song is real gem and I find it to be not only beautiful but inspiring. People should really listen to the words of this song really phenomenal. "Golden Lady" is another great surprise and Feliciano from the opening chords of the song sounds magnificent. The song was written by Stevie Wonder but forget it Jose's soulful rendition surpasses Wonder's original by a million miles. I have always love Jose's guitar playing style so much not only on acoustic which he is king but on the electric guitar as well and "Virgo" an instrumental that he wrote for this fantastic LP is no exception. Feliciano demonstrates by far that he has no competition when it comes to jammin on the electric, a real rocker of a piece I love it. This excellent recording also includes "Chico And The Man" without a doubt a Feliciano classic and one of his greatest compositions as a songwriter which he is wonderful. The album's title track "And The Feeling's Good" is another great, great song and again Feliciano's soulful and appealing voice along with his excellent acoustic playing makes this song one of the best tracks on the album. The album ends with "Essence Of Your Love" a most beautiful and mellow song. This is another example of what a great songwriter Jose truly is and his guitar playing again is so beyond compare, this song will definately bring tears to your eyes because like in every song that he sings he puts his heart on the line with so much feeling and emotion that is absolutely a joy to listen to. I wish Jose's old record company would finally release the rest of his catalog with RCA. There are so many fantastic albums from this period that Feliciano recorded that sadly enough has yet to resurface on CD format. This is a perfect opportunity to buy this album one of the great ones from the master. You will love it that is a promise."
