Over fifty years ago, Johnny Ashcroft transformed himself from a yodelling, guitar-strumming hillbilly recording artist, into Australia's foremost modern country music singer/songwriter/entertainer, who eventually recorded and sang songs regardless of style. In 1970 Johnny was imprinted in the inaugural Country Music Hands Of Fame and in 1986 he was inducted into the prestigious Country Music Roll of Renown.
