Haunting Christmas music

"For anyone slightly bored with "elevator" Christmas music, or not a devotee of rock, or rap Christmas carols, this album is a rare and wonderful find. Alfred Deller, an English counter-tenor, and the Deller Consort, present absolutely brilliant 14th, 15th and 16th century carols, some familiar, many unfamiliar, all exquisitely presented and sublime. I highly recommend this album for anyone interested in a more authentic and rare collection of Christmas music."
