"This multi-lingual, talently gifted, versatile artist from Flanders, Belgium once again bestowed upon his music fans with another album of beautifully crafted songs. If you enjoy the diverse musical direction he took with "Out of Africa Classics", then you will equally enjoy this "Latino Classics".There are 16 songs on the album and Helmut performs them the only way he can, which is with conviction and honesty. One can feel that he wants to give his listeners an unique experience with each song. Songs such as "La Bamba" and "La Cucaracha", recognized throughout the world, are fun and ever so upbeat. With "Malaguena" Helmut truly displays his vocal strength; it has some very lengthly notes. Then there is the hot "Sangue De Beirona" which is so salsa danceable that one would find it difficult to believe that it is performed by the same artist who gave us the "Goes Classic" set of albums. There are many more songs to which you would get up and dance to and they are "Guantanamera", "Eso Beso" and "El Choclo" for examples. I have introduced his music to friends of various musical preferences and they all have become devoted fans. Because of his diversity and angelic voice, there is something for everyone."
Grand Old Latino Classics

"In the 1940's they sang "Latin America, Take It Away." On this CD, Helmut Lotti brings back those grand Latin Classics. This music is not Tex-Mex, nor salsa. These songs are classics because of their endurance. The listener is treated to the swaying rhythms of the music and the beautifully flowing Latin languages. As always, Senor Lotti blends accuracy of pronunciation and vocal intonation, to color each song. In "Malaguena," his held notes are pure and enthralling. And, as always, this is a most delightful CD."
