CD ReviewsUnbelievably HIP! paul-the-hep-cat | Norwalk | 03/28/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "Helen Humes is the greatest of all the 40's-50's r&b female singers(only Ruth Brown comes close). Humes is backed here by various small groups including the famous jazz critic Leonard Feather's band. This entire cd has a jump blues/swing feel, but it is all 100% great late 40's pure r&b, it it's best, and Humes vocals are liek a dream come true, like honey. She's so hip you'll flip!"
